I use my skills acquired when working as a Patternmaker
to carve unique designs on the guards or the
inner sticks.
The design potential is endless but I prefer to interpret
a portion of the lace design and reproduce it on the sticks.
If you ask for carving on the stems of the inner sticks the design tends to be of a floral type.
